Year 2001

Official Launch of OEHS’s first publication “Health at Work”

  • The book was launched on 7 July 2001, 2pm at the Regent Singapore
  • This Guest of Honour at the launch was Mr Yeo Guat Kwang, the Director, NTUC Productivity Development and Quality Lifestyle Department, and Deputy Chairman, Government Parliamentary Committee for Manpower.

Year 2000

26th International Congress on Occupational Health

  • Held between 27 August to 1 September 2000 in Singapore
  • It was jointly organised by the Department of Community, Occupational and Family Medicine, National University of Singapore and OEHS. Dr Phoon Wai H Hoong represents OEHS in the organising committee. Dr Phoon Wai Hoong represents OEHS in the organising committee. He is also Deputy Chairman of the organising committee. Many of the Ex-co members and OEHS members were also actively involved in organising the conference. It attracted more than 2,000 delegates from 100 countries.

26th International Congress on Occupational Health

  • OS+H Asia exhibition at Suntec City which was held in conjunction with the 26th International Congress on Occupational Health. Information about OEHS and its publications were on display.
